PUNE PULSE

Terms of Use

What Pune Pulse is

Pune Pulse is a real-time 3D digital twin of Pune. It renders the city from public map data and runs a traffic simulation on top of it.

It is a visualisation and simulation tool. It is not a navigation app, not a live traffic service, and not a source of truth about real road conditions. Do not use it to make travel, safety or engineering decisions.

The numbers are simulated

Speeds, congestion, waiting times, CO₂ figures and cost estimates are produced by a model. The model has not been calibrated against observed traffic counts, so its outputs should be read as illustrative rather than measured.

Where live data is available, it is clearly a third-party feed and carries that provider’s own accuracy and availability limits.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

We may suspend accounts that are used to attack the service or to break the law.

Map data and attribution

Building footprints, roads, parks and place names are derived from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).

Elevation is derived from publicly available terrain tile datasets. Live traffic and weather, where enabled, come from their respective providers.

What you may not do

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to store or distribute unlawful content.

Do not scrape or redistribute the app’s data in bulk. The underlying open datasets are available directly from their sources under their own licences.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, incomplete or wrong at any time.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on anything it displays.

Changes

These terms may change as the app does. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
